यह एक Apache Web Server software की configuration file है जिसकी मदद से आप Apache Web Server software के additional functionality और features के enable/disable कर सकते है।

.htaccess को कैसे इस्तेमाल करें?
अगर आप .htaccess को इस्तेमाल करना चाहते है तो आप इसका नाम सिर्फ .htaccess रखना है और इसके अलावा आप इसे file.htaccess नहीं लिखना है। इस फाइल को आपको अपने एप्लीकेशन की main डायरेक्टरी में रखना है, जहाँ पर आपकी index फाइल होती है. इसकी सैंपल फाइल के बारे में बताने जा रहे है।
